Cover Corporation performance over the last 365 days

These charts will reflect how well Cover Corporation is doing in the stock market.

This one shows point to point their growth over the last 365 days. Cover successfully recovered their losses from 2024 and improved a healthy 19.23%.

By comparison, their performance is slightly below the Tokyo Stock Exchange and the Nikkei. However, cyclical stocks fluctuate as much as the exchange they trade on so being close AND trading on positive grounds both show a healthy performance and recovery.

To properly evaluate how a company is doing price wise on the exchange, it's equally as important to measure performance relative to their competition or companies that operate in the same sector/industry. In this case, as AnyColor is the best measuring stick, we can see that despite AnyColor's stock being worth more in price, Cover is still outperforming them Year on Year.

Conclusion? Cover has made tremendous success rising to and at times surpassed the metrics they're measured by. Are they in a better place than last year? Price wise they are. Performance wise, there's a large room of improvement they must overcome. Their net earnings, while higher than a year ago (+5%) show increased spending/expenses that don't support the valuation in the broader market. While Cover is still technically in their growing phase (not including when they were considered a private company), ROA and ROI (returns on assets and investment) have not moved the needle (net margin) despite reporting more revenue. They must show the fruits of their spending within the next 12-16 months. Otherwise, we'll continue to see their value bounce heavily from lofty ideals (HoloEarth, ueLive, etc) and underwhelming promises that fail to materialize. It's admirable for them to introduce new things (like the mobile game); however, large scale projects with little to no progress fitting the sales pitch is troubling; especially when they announce a decrease in spending for its development. HoloEarth v1.0 must launch this year or at least have an "early access" style launch. Because right now, it's just a tech demo that Cover has spent 2.8-3 billion on.
